About us

In 2007 Public Image Events was set up as a creative events agency with clients across Scotland and the North East of England.

 

Since then the company has grown significantly, and is now recognised as one of the leading Event Production and Health and Safety Consultancies in the UK.

Ian Bone

DIRECTOR

Ian has been involved in all aspects of production management for over 40 years working on large-scale events involving music, street theatre and contemporary art. He is a qualified health and safety practitioner and has extensive experience of working with local authorities, the emergency services and artists from across the world.

 

Ian has worked on Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, the Rolling Stones Tour and the Rewind Festival as Event Production Safety Manager. He has extensive experience in the delivery and planning of festival sites and has also worked as Production Manger on shows with artists such as Elton John, Paul Weller, The Human League, The Darkness, and Lewis Capaldi.

Ian originally trained in journalism and understands the importance of client communication to a project’s success.

Zoë Bottrell

CO-DIRECTOR

Zoë has over 15 years’ events management experience and specialises in delivering contemporary art projects in heritage and landscape settings, often in challenging locations.

 

Zoë is also the Managing Director of Culture Creative and is well versed in managing the strategic context and ‘big picture’ phase of any project, and managing budgets and partners.

Who we work with

Public Image Events works with public sector and private sector arts and cultural organisations. Since it was first established in 2007 its client base has grown considerably and it has delivered many unique and at times challenging projects.
