An annual arts festival held in the town of Stockton in Teesside. The first festival was held in 1988 and Public Image Events has been managing the event production for Stockton Borough Council for 18 years.
The Festival is an international event that attracts hundreds of performers and thousands of visitors over four days at the beginning of August each year. In addition to the main programme, we work closely with the festival team to manage the carnival procession which brings together hundreds of professional artists and local community groups to create a vibrant parade through the heart of Stockton.
Arriving on site two weeks ahead of the first day of the Festival, we build the staging, and put in the lighting, sound and equipment required across the town for the huge number of international performers who come to SIRF year on year.
